The refreshing pairing of Berber-Thayer's sophisticated design sense and Kammlah's keen eye for fashion detailing delivers a new phase to home furnishings. While retaining the collection's original affinity for beautiful, antique elements and richly unusual fabrics, they merge a more contemporary aesthetic into the compositions adding a new dimension to its already rich palette.

Cecilia Berber-Thayer grew up in Mexico, the U.S. and Belgium. Fluent in English, Spanish, French and conversant in Italian, she maintains ties with and draws inspiration from an international history of design. After graduating with a double major in International Studies and French, she went to work for Minton-Corley in Fort Worth, Texas, where she spent ten years as Joe Minton's personal design assistant. Several projects, to which she made significant contributions, were later featured in Veranda, Southern Accents and Architectural Digest. After moving with her family to Fredericksburg, Texas in 1993, she worked in collaboration with Carol Bolton on various projects most notably overseeing and giving aesthetic direction to the original restoration of the burned out Havana Hotel in San Antonio, Texas. A number of her design projects, during this period, appeared in magazines such as Bed and Bath and Coastal Living, as well as a number of design books. This led to not only residential and commercial design projects, but also to the evolution of a unique rug line for Kalaty, for which she is now solely responsible and her 13 year involvement with the furniture collection and current status as one of its co-designers. Licensed as an Interior Designer in Texas for over twenty years, she continues to serve a national and international client base.

A Texas transplant from her native Southern California roots, Sarah moved to Fredericksburg, Texas to become a visual artist and buyer for the Homestead family of stores. Using her love of couture fashion and detailing, she collaborated for 13 years on the Carol Hicks Bolton furniture collection. Her extensive background in fabric, furniture and product development, paired with her impeccable eye for design, served a pivotal role in the evolvement of this well-known furniture line. In 2008 Sarah and Cecilia Berber Thayer joined forces to co-create the Berber.Kammlah Collection for E.J.Victor. Very much like the couture fashion they both loved, their fresh take on one-of-a-kind fabrics and hand tailored detailing brings a striking, innovative approach to the world of furnishings. Sarah's love of beauty, visible in her textile and furniture designs, has been translated into many residential and commercial projects over a span of nearly 20 years. Her unique, edgy style has also been featured in several publications, as well as on HGTV.
